Hi Bill,
We just missed meeting you at the Grandfather Mtn. Highland Games this year ( attended Sunday ) but kudos to Clan Leslie as the honored clan this year !
My wife Jo Ann and I share your love of Scotland .. we have been over several times, playing golf all over
including Orkney, Lewis & Harris and all of the championship courses. We joined a club called Machrihanish GC out on the Kintyre Peninsula 13 years ago.
Have you ever been out to Kintyre ? Our favorite day trip is to the Mull of Kintyre Lighthouse which overlooks Northern Ireland, but many other beautiful places are the Isles of Arran to the east and Gigha on the west ( along with Islay and Jura close by.) It's just a 3 hour trip to the end of Kintyre from Glasgow by car & less by ferry .. so we can highly recommend a trip out that way if you have time. Hey .. Paul McCartney's farm is just above Campbeltown, so you know it's a nice place !
Until we return to Scotland, we'll listen to your music and dream.

Bill...Some 30 years ago you interviewed me for a human interest story for broadcast. I had issued the Tobacco A-Go-Go 60's music compilation LPs. I am back in that saddle, researching bands of that era for a possible book. Your site has my email address. I ask that you send me an email and perhaps we can find time to chat about the Beggars, Cyntriks, etc. Regards, Ken

Love your latest Scottish CD! I'm not a TV person (although I do catch you daily with the news), but my background noise as I go about my day at home is music. This CD has become one of my favorites (a Christmas gift for my husband, but I've taken it over as mine). We were in Scotland last September, and your music takes me right back to those highlands!

Thank you Peggy for your wonderful comments! Campbell is a great Scottish name and I would love to meet you and your husband one day. Have a great week and thanks for making my day!

Enjoyed your Wilson Concert so much. Think it's the best one we seen you do. You have such a wonderful musical gift. Thanks so much for sharing. Doris is in the process of preparing her holiday shortbread. Would like to drop off a batch at the station for you and your staff. Will you be in the station on 12/10/13? Let us know, Doris & John Gray of Tarboro NC

I recently moved back to my hometown after 23 years in Raleigh. I've seen you on WRAL many, many times over the years. I picked up your CD "South Mountain" today at Hobby Lobby. Imagine to my surprise to see a part of NC here in WI! What a wonderful delight! Thanks for all of your hard work in making this CD; I look forward to hearing NC while here in WI. ;)
