This is a busy week.  Wednesday evening I will serve as co-emcee with Waltye Rasulala at Pieces of Gold, a major fundraiser for Wake County Schools at Raleigh's Memorial Auditorium.

Thursday evening I have a solo performance at Raleigh's City Museum from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Barbecue from The Pit will be served. We are looking for a nice turnout. It's been fun planning for this event with Jenny Litzelman. I'll be playing selections from Blue Ridge Reunion and reading from the companion book by the same name.  For more information check out the following link:

Saturday I have a solo performance at  Athens Drive Baptist Church in Raleigh.

We recently received a kind note from Cassie Struthers at Raleigh's Christ Episcopal Church where I recently performed. Cassie wrote: "We enjoyed your program immensely! We tapped our feet, hummed along and left with happy hearts. Thanks for a terrific trip to Celtic Appalachia."
